Lapis Of Luxury is a beautiful blue that reminds me of summer skies, Essie describes it as a dreamy ocean blue, which I can totally see. The formula is great, very smooth however it needs three coats to be completely opaque. I however was very impatient and only applied two coats, so the finish wasn’t as flawless as I had hoped it to be. Anyways it’s another beautiful color of Essie’s Resort 2010 collection and definitely worth buying if you don’t already have any similar dupes.
Essie Turquoise & Caicos
Yayyy I’m so happy to have finally gotten my hands on the new Essie Resort 2010 collection! The colors are amazing and I couldn’t resist buying Lapis Of Luxury, Splash Of Grenadine and of course Turquoise & Caicos. Now I’m totally in love with Turquoise & Caicos and have been wearing it ever since I got it. The color is really gorgeous and it will definitely be my to go color for this summer!

Essie Cute As A Button
Cute As A Button is one of those nail polishes that make me happy just by looking at it. The bright pink is so vibrant and glossy, I wore it constantly last summer and will definitely be wearing it this summer again.

Essie Greenport
I’m wearing Greenport from Essie’s North Fork Summer 2009 collection. I loved the entire collection but Greenport just screamed BUY ME! The formula was okay although for the color to be absolutely opaque I needed three coats, however the gorgeous color definitely makes up for it

Essie Exotic Liras
Exotic Liras is a color I always fall back on when it comes to pedicures! It’s a lovely raspberry red that has great coverage with two coats and didn’t give me any streaks.

OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue!
This is the perfect navy with just the right amount of shimmer. The coverage is amazing, I only needed two coats and the wide brush allows for a smooth application. So for everyone that loves their blues, you won’t do wrong with this one!

Essie Chinchilly
Chinchilly is a soft light grey creme polish from Essie’s fall 2009 collection. It’s a great neutral color that I think works well on every skin tone.

OPI Miami Beet
I’m all about berry colors and Miami Beet is all that. I took tons of pictures trying to capture the exact color of the polish but unfortunately I just didn’t get it right. Anyways it’s a great color and one of my fave of the entire OPI South Beach Collection.

Essie Resort Collection
Almost every blog has already posted these promo pictures, but since I’m super excited about this collection I figured it wouldn’t hurt posting them again. In my opinion Essie has been bringing out one amazing collection after the other and this Resort Collection is no exception! I’m especially stoked about Turquoise & Caicos and Lapis of Luxury and can’t wait until the collection is available in May.

The four new summer colors are:
- Lapis Of Luxury – a dreamy ocean blue
- Splash Of Grenadine – a playful magenta pink
- Playa Del Platinum – an elegant and sheer sandy gray
- Turquoise & Caicos – a flirty and pretty tropical aqua

Essie Lilacism
After seeing the promo pics for Essie’s Art Of Spring collection I really wanted Lilacism, it’s a pastel-ly lilac that is perfect for spring and it reminds me of one of my favorite colors Do You Lilac It? by OPI. Anyways the color is gorgeous, however as you can see in the picture, the application was not so great and I would have needed three coats for a non streaky finish.
